Who doesn’t love the freshness of pico de gallo? A fresh blend of ingredients that is commonly found in Mexican restaurants. The condiment is really great with chips, or if you are like me you put it on your tacos, nachos, or in a nice queso. This easy recipe is not only healthy, extremely affordable, but it is also really delicious.
Let’s get started.
Ingredients: (Use more if you want to make more, this fed two people, four tacos)
- 1 large roma tomato, diced
- 3 tbsp of diced red onion
- 1/2 long seranno chili pepper, finely diced
- 1 tbsp cilantro leaves, chopped
- Juice of 1/2 a lime
- pinch of salt
Toss all of the above ingredients in a bowl, mix, and let sit for roughly 20 minutes before serving. That’s it! Ready to eat.
